For most audio amplifier application, this 5 frequency responses will appropriate. The frequency response variation will be flat (no modification of the input signal), bass cut, bass boost, middle cut, middle boost, treble cut, and treble boost. To comply with high fidelity standard, this circuit uses low noise audio type transistor. The flat response is set by the center position of the potentiometers, where turning them higher or lower will change their response to boost or cut. Here is the schematic diagram of the circuit:
